Introduction
After purchasing your Website or Software Licence, your licence will be automatically provisioned through our CloudServe licensing platform. This guide explains how to activate and install your licensed software.
Step 1 — Receive Your Licence Details
Once your order is completed, you will receive:
- Your Licence Key
- Product Download Link
- Client Area Access
- Installation Instructions
- Activation Information
You can also access these anytime from your CloudServe Client Area under:
Services > My Products & Services
Step 2 — Download the Software
Download the latest version of your software package from your client area.
Typical package contents include:
- Application Files
- Installation Wizard
- Configuration Files
- Documentation
- Licence Validation Module
Step 3 — Upload Files to Your Hosting
Upload the software files to your hosting account using:
- File Manager
- FTP
- SFTP
- SSH
Recommended locations:
/public_html/
or
/var/www/html/
depending on your hosting environment.
Step 4 — Create a Database
Create a new MySQL database and database user from your hosting control panel.
You will need:
- Database Name
- Database Username
- Database Password
- Database Host
Step 5 — Run the Installation Wizard
Visit your domain in a web browser:
https://yourdomain.com/install
Follow the on-screen installation steps:
- Accept licence agreement
- Enter database details
- Configure administrator account
- Complete installation
Step 6 — Activate Your Licence
During installation, enter your Licence Key exactly as provided.
The software will automatically validate against the licensing server.
Activation checks may include:
- Registered domain
- Server IP
- Installation path
- Licence status
Step 7 — Complete Installation
Once activation is successful:
- Remove the installation directory if instructed
- Log into your admin area
- Configure your software settings
- Begin using your licensed application
Important Notes
Domain Restrictions
Your licence is valid only for the number of domains purchased.
Changing Domains
If you need to change your licensed domain, please contact support.
Local Development
Some licences may allow localhost or staging environments.
Licence Validation
Your software may periodically validate the licence automatically.
