Administrator manual — first setup checklist
After Central provisioning completes, use this order to establish the operational tenant.
1. Company and document settings
Open Admin → Company & Document Settings. Review company identity, document defaults, job costing defaults, planner defaults, field completion rules, communications/documents, Central SaaS management and security/recovery settings.
2. Users and permissions
Create staff under Users & Roles and review the Permissions Matrix. Give users only the permissions needed for their duties.
3. Trade access and engineer competency
Review Subscription & Tenant Licence to see the centrally controlled trade families/disciplines available to the tenant. Then configure engineer skills/qualifications separately under Skills & Qualifications.
4. Customers and sites
Create the customer/site structure before jobs, assets, contracts or compliance records are entered.
5. Operational libraries
Populate or review manufacturers/devices, technical documents, fault codes, parts, suppliers, standards profiles, form templates and trade asset types as required.
6. Planning and service operations
Configure planner defaults, engineer availability, recurring contracts/maintenance schedules and field completion rules.
7. Production checks
Run Production Readiness, System Health, Deployment Verification, backup verification and commissioning before treating the tenant as fully production-ready.
