Asset lifecycle states
Use operational status to show whether equipment is available for service.
Where to find it
Open the asset record → structured register/lifecycle fields.
How to use it
- Use in service for normal operational equipment.
- Use isolated, impaired or out of service when that accurately reflects the current state.
- Use removed when equipment is no longer part of the maintained installation.
- Record supporting defect/service history rather than relying on the status label alone.

Status should reflect actual site conditions and your approved impairment/isolation process.
