Multi-trade framework and the 47 disciplines
Engineers Hub 4.0.0 treats trade discipline as a first-class property of operational records.
The built-in catalogue covers 47 disciplines across:
- fire detection and alarm;
- emergency lighting;
- extinguishers and hose reels;
- sprinklers, watermist, wet/dry risers, hydrants, pumps/tanks and specialist suppression;
- PA/VA, EVC/refuge and assistance alarms;
- smoke control/AOV, dampers, doors, curtains/shutters, fire stopping and compartmentation;
- intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, door entry and perimeter security;
- nurse/warden call and other care/call systems;
- specialist detection, gas/CO/leak detection;
- BMS/life-safety interfaces, lift/firefighter controls, emergency power and electrical-safety/compliance inspection.
Jobs and assets can be assigned a discipline. Sites can enable the disciplines they maintain and service frequency. Engineers can have multiple discipline competencies with level, qualification, issuer and expiry.
Three different controls
- Subscription entitlement — whether the tenant is commercially allowed to create new work in the discipline.
- Engineer competency — whether a particular engineer has the required capability/qualification record.
- Workflow evidence — whether the required discipline-specific inspection/service fields and completion rules have been satisfied.
These controls are intentionally separate.
